Mary J. Blige adds another title to her résumé: radio host! She's launching her own radio show on Apple Music.
Mary J. Blige seems to be on a mission to empower women with her art. Recently, Funkmaster Flex announced on his Instagram that the “Real Love” singer is set to have her own radio show on New York City's WBLS radio station. According to VIBE, Flex, the creative program director for WBLS, said on his show that Blige’s program would have her engaging in conversation as she also curates a playlist of her favorite records for listeners.

The multi-talented artist has been busy with her many projects. She recently headlined the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa, California and stars as one of the main characters in the 50 Cent-produced Starz drama Power Book: Ghost. In early 2023, Blige launched her own talk show on BET, “The Wine Down With Mary J. Blige,” and in March she released her first children’s book, Mary Can!. She also held her second Strength of a Woman Festival & Summit in Atlanta and had two of her most memorable songs, “Real Love” and “Strength of a Woman,” turned into a Lifetime movie that aired in June 2023.

The launch date for Blige's radio show has yet to be announced, but it's clear that the singer isn't slowing down anytime soon. We can look forward to her upcoming projects as she continues to inspire and empower women with her art, business moves, and ability to engage her supporters.
