E.on Next’s Winter Support Affordability Scheme, as it is known, is a great opportunity for customers to save up to 50% on their energy bills from now until March 2024. To qualify, customers must have an annual household income of less than £19,000, or meet certain medical dependency needs and have a household income of less than £31,000.
If a customer has no energy debt when they sign up to the scheme, they will receive 25% off their standard variable prices. However, customers with a debt when they sign up will receive an incredible 50% off, and the debt will be removed at the end of the fixed term as long as payments are kept up with.
Furthermore, the offer includes a free insulation offer as part of the Great British Insulation Scheme. To be eligible, customers must either qualify for Warm Home Discount Core groups 1 & 2, or Broad group Scotland, customers previously eligible for Broad group in England & Wales. Alternatively, they must use energy to operate medical equipment and have an income of less than £31,000, have an income and expenditure deficit and an annual household income of under £19,000, agree to install a Smart meter and pay for their energy by fixed monthly Direct Debit.
