Former WWE superstar Afa Anao'i Jr, affectionately known as Manu, is currently fighting for his life in hospital. On September 23, he was rushed to hospital after discovering he had a severe, complex cardiac issue. Since then, he has gone through numerous tests and major cardiac procedures.
Unfortunately, his heart injection fraction is only working at 35%, and his heart is quickly filling with fluid. As a result, Afa has a long road to recovery and faces major medical bills and the need for medication.
Mike Kleckner, who set up the GoFundMe, wrote that Afa has "an extremely vibrant and loving personality" and has always been there for those in need. He pointed to Afa's two children and asked people to donate whatever they could afford.
Fortunately, generous donations from 65 people has already raised $5,895. Ronny Riemer donated $1,000, WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes contributed $500, and WWE star Killian Dain donated $250.
Afa Jr is part of the legendary Anao'i dynasty and Roman Reigns' cousin. He was with WWE from 2007 to 2009, after spending time in WWE's Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling development territories. His most recent match came at an LVAC show earlier this month.
If you're able to help out Afa, please visit the GoFundMe page set up by Mike Kleckner. Your generosity is much appreciated.
