In Bhopal, a man has been booked for sending obscene pictures of a female friend to her husband and hurling casteist slurs at her. The case was registered on Saturday by the Anusuchit Jaati Janjaati police. The woman who is 25 years old and employed in a private company, had befriended the accused back in her college days.
SHO Akansha Sharma of AJAK police station reported that after the woman got married last month, the accused, Ganesh Bhargava, started to pressure her to meet him. However, every time she refused, he became furious and sent her obscene photos to her husband. To further humiliate her, he hurled casteist slurs at her.
Hearing this, the woman immediately lodged a complaint against the accused with AJAK police. SHO Sharma stated that the case is being investigated and the accused will be arrested soon.
