Man in Bhopal scammed out of Rs 29.7k while trying to get a loan.
In an unfortunate incident in Bhopal, the Khajuri Sadak police have registered a case of fraud against two persons who have allegedly duped a man out of Rs 29,000.

The House Officer of Khajuri police station, Sandhya Mishra, revealed that the complainant, Rajesh Kumar, is a Neelgagan Colony resident. Kumar was in need of money and contacted Shiva and one of his friends in January 2023. He was promised a loan of Rs 2 lakh, and was asked to pay Rs 29,000 in instalments.

Kumar transferred the amount in instalments, however, when he tried to contact the duo later, his calls were left unanswered. Realising that he had been duped, Kumar immediately approached the police and lodged a formal complaint. The police have now registered a case and have initiated a probe into the matter.

This incident comes in the midst of the BJP's attempts to tarnish the image of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. The BJP had circulated posters of Kamal Nath as a 'Most Wanted Scamster' in an attempt to damage his 'Corruption-Free Image', and has been under fire from the Congress ever since.
