Virajpet, July. 3: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself after a quarrel with a woman in the city.
The deceased has been identified as Sagar (30), a resident of Boikeri, who was working as a pole installer at Chescom.
Sagar, who worked in Chesscom and was an auto driver, had been living with a married woman for the past eight years. There was friction between the two some days back on this subject. Sagar, who was returning after visiting the Kottiyoor temple in Kerala, came home at around 6 pm and called the woman. However, as there was no response, he shot a video on his mobile phone and hanged himself to death from the ceiling of the kitchen. The woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
