Loose Women panellist Olivia Attwood has been forced to miss out on the Christmas party due to an eye injury. The 32-year-old Love Island star shared a picture of her eye bandaged up on social media with the caption: "Was meant to be off to @loosewomen Christmas lunch.. but my eye had other ideas."

She revealed how a routine medical test had come back with worrying results. She was taken to a private hospital for more tests, but the insurance company then refused to allow her to stay in the jungle, causing her to be axed.
Olivia wept all the way back from the jungle following the devastating news: ‘I don’t cry… and I cried the whole way back from Australia – the whole flight.’

The presenter, who suffered life-changing injuries and burns in an acid attack in 2008, underwent surgery to ‘preserve the eye, avoid perforation and losing my eye completely’.
