Lisa Appleton, the legendary Big Brother star, has recently revealed that she is now working as a delivery driver, 15 years after starring on the reality show.
Back in 2008, Lisa and her then-husband Mario Marconi made history by becoming the first couple to ever enter the Big Brother house. Lisa quickly gained a reputation for her outspoken personality and she was soon a firm favorite on the Blackpool party circuit.

However, Lisa is now taking on a new job as an Amazon delivery driver. She told The Sun: “Obviously with the lockdown, a lot of my projects at the time got cancelled. So, in the meantime, because of the cost of living and stuff like that, food has gone up, everything has gone up.”
The 55-year-old reality star was even seen wearing a name badge and lanyard while delivering packages in Cheshire. Lisa added: “I can’t believe the prices sometimes, they have added a pound on to things. Electricity’s gone up so I thought as a boost to my income I would get a job at Amazon.”
Lisa and Mario made history as the first couple to enter the Big Brother house together in 2008. Not long after, the couple got engaged on the show and went on to tie the knot in a Channel 4 series called The Wedding House.
Unfortunately, the couple split up in 2013, with Lisa claiming that they had been “unhappy for a while”. Lisa opened up about the impact of Big Brother in her life when she appeared on Channel 5's Celebs on Benefits in 2015. She said: “When I go for an interviews, people get starstruck. They’re like “Oh my gosh, it’s Lisa from Big Brother – I voted for you”. It’s nice but I don’t end up getting the job. Sometimes people tell me I’m not famous and it’s just like, sorry but I am. I get recognised.”
