Blaylock Van, LLC is proud to announce the appointment of Leonard Jones as its Executive Director of Municipal Banking and Head of Public Finance. With his extensive leadership, strategic expertise and visionary approach to municipal finance and investment banking, Jones is set to make a tremendous impact on the firm's clients and team.
Jones joins Blaylock Van, the nation's longest-continuously operating Black-owned investment firm, from Moody's Investors Service where he served as Managing Director and managed the company's public finance local government ratings group. He also held leadership positions with Morgan Stanley and Company, Rice Financial Products, and the Zambia Privatization Agency.

Jones holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dartmouth College. In addition, he serves as Board Treasurer for the New York Urban League.
