The programme, held at the Kuvempu Multipurpose Hall of the school, was attended by alumni from various batches. The programme was inaugurated by the school principals, Colonel Amarjeet Singh, Divya Singh and Kodige Association (Alumni Association) President Shafiullah.

Addressing the function, Shafiullah explained about the various activities undertaken by the Alumni Association to strengthen the bond with the institution and for the growth of the school.

Colonel Amarjeet Singh welcomed the gathering and appreciated its continuous association with the institution. He proposed to rename the association as Old Boys and Girls Association (OBGA) to reflect the increasing participation of women alumni. Stating that Sainik School Kodagu is one of the fastest growing Sainik Schools in the country, he stressed that the school is committed to character building, academic excellence and all-round development. He shared that Squadron Leader Deepak Nayak, Indian Navy, will be joining as the Administrator in September.

In the cultural programme, the cadets presented melodious songs, attractive dances depicting episodes from the Ramayana and Chande Mela to the delight of the audience. The annual prize distribution ceremony was also held on the occasion. Colonel Amarjeet Singh presented the Academic Achievement Trophy, UPSC Exam Achievement Trophy and Cock House Trophy for overall excellence to Kathari House for the year 2025-26. As a token of gratitude, Shafiullah presented a memento to the Principal. The Alumni Association felicitated retired Social Science teacher Dakshinamurthy and employee Mallikarjun, who will be retiring in August, in recognition of their services.

Sunil Karale spoke on behalf of the alumni. The programme concluded with friendly football and hockey matches between the alumni and the school teams.
