Jurgen Klopp has expressed his excitement and delight at the arrival of Liverpool's new signing, Dominik Szoboszlai.
The 22-year-old has joined the Reds from RB Leipzig in a £60m deal, becoming the second signing of Liverpool's summer transfer window after Alexis Mac Allister.
Klopp is well aware of Szoboszlai's qualities, having faced off against him when he was playing for RB Salzburg.
"Everyone who saw those fixtures will have realised that even at that stage he was a really interesting prospect," the German tactician said.
Klopp was also impressed with Szoboszlai's rise to captaining the Hungary national team at an incredibly young age, highlighting the signs of a "proper positive" player.
"I will not say too much about his qualities as a footballer at this stage, except they are definitely the kind which will hopefully bring a lot of enjoyment and also help us to get results," he added.
The Hungarian has taken on the iconic number 8 shirt at Anfield, something Klopp believes is down to his "outstanding football education" so far.
"Our responsibility now is to continue this education with him as part of the Liverpool family," Klopp said.
"Everything about this is good news and I am very grateful to everyone at the club who has contributed to making it happen. This is a signing for our present and also for our future and the work that has gone into it could not be more appreciated."
