Kelly Brook, a well-known TV star, recently opened up about her recent purchases of lubricant and the reason behind them. It may come as a surprise, but the 45-year-old is stocking up on lube because she will be participating in the 2025 London Marathon.
During a conversation with a running expert, Kelly shared her concerns about chafing during the marathon. "She asked me, 'What are you going to do about your boobs?' and I said, 'Well, what do you recommend?'" Kelly recalled to Prima. "She said, 'You need silicone lubricant, so you don't get chafing.'"
With this advice in mind, Kelly and her husband Jeremy Parisi went to a "pleasure shop" in New York during their trip. "I said, 'I need to go in here and see if they've got this,'" Kelly shared. "And Jeremy said, 'What's it for?' and I said, 'It's for my breasts.' I didn't tell him it was for the marathon."
The couple will be taking on the London Marathon together, with it being Kelly's first marathon. They have been documenting their training progress on Instagram, rain or shine, to prepare for the big day.
While training for the marathon, Kelly also took on another challenge - Celebrity Race Across the World. Together with Jeremy, 39, they travelled from Brazil to Chile with limited resources and no access to technology, competing against three other celebrity pairs. The BBC series was eventually won by Scott Mills and his husband Sam Vaughan.
In some episodes, viewers saw the competitive side of Jeremy clashing with Kelly, who seemed to view it more as a holiday. However, Kelly revealed that not everything was as it seemed on the show. "Ultimately, I'm an entertainer. I'm an entertainer at heart and cameras are there. And I'd be lying if I didn't say that," she explained.
"Some of the arguments we had were genuine and some of them we didn't really need to have. But I thought, 'The cameras are there, it's what they want.' I think Jeremy was sometimes a bit shocked by things I would say, or my little quips and one-liners. But you're amped up, you're in show mode and you're like, 'No, we need to have this conversation on camera because this is what we've signed up to do.'"
The April 2025 issue of Prima magazine is now on sale, featuring Kelly's interview.
