Therefore, women also used to hunt with a stick. Overall, Keddasa is known as a festival of rest and a festival of non-vegetarian food, he said.

Union Vice President Hosoklu Latha Monnappa spoke and said that Keddasa festival is celebrated only in Kodagu-Dakshina Kannada districts. Especially, there are differences in the celebrations according to the region.
