Jenas predicts surprising outcome for Arsenal vs Man Utd match in Premier League.

Jermaine Jenas, a former midfielder for Tottenham, believes that Manchester United may have a chance to surprise Arsenal in their upcoming Premier League match on Sunday. Even though Mikel Arteta's side is currently leading the table, their goalless draw against Nottingham Forest last weekend prevented them from extending their lead to nine points over Manchester City. Arsenal has been on an impressive 12-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, but their next game against United could prove to be a tricky one. United, under the new interim head coach Michael Carrick, showed a promising performance against City last weekend with a 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Patrick Dorgu. Jenas, speaking on the Wilcards Podcast, believes that United's performance against City could serve as a blueprint for their game against Arsenal. He noted the well-drilled organization and developing partnerships within the team, particularly between Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes, who linked up effectively and assisted in the first goal of the match. But Jenas also pointed out that Arsenal, who are known for their set-pieces and the potential impact of Gabriel Jesus, may struggle to break down teams easily. Against United, who are likely to play counterattacking football, Jenas believes that players like Amad Diallo, Fernandes, and Mbeumo could cause problems for Arteta's side. However, not everyone is convinced of United's chances against Arsenal. Pundit Paul Merson has suggested that the Red Devils have "no chance" against an Arsenal team that is yet to lose at home this season. He believes that United will have to stay in the game for as long as possible and not get into an end-to-end match, as that would favor Arsenal's style of play. But Merson also acknowledges that the pressure will be on Arsenal, as they are only four points above Manchester City, who are expected to win their match against Wolves on Saturday. If Arsenal starts to panic, United could capitalize on their counterattacking style and cause an upset on Sunday.
