Saturday morning joyously ready to head to the beach with wife, daughter, son-in-loll, and three granddaughters, I check the news and Jimmy Buffett died.
Well Hell! Way to wreck a Saturday beach day.
I will let others praise his calypso beat, happy pirate, singalong music, but I note he was an incredible entrepreneur who the New York Times recently anointed as a BILLIONAIRE making him the only billionaire who has ever made so many people happy.
He did it with music, real estate, hotels, restaurants, and branded merchandise. He was nobody’s dummy and had a knack for making money and leveraging his brand.
