The Indore Development Authority (IDA) launched two initiatives in the field of e-governance on Friday. These two initiatives, namely the Lease Management System and File Tracking System, were launched in the presence of Neeraj Mandloi, the principal secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department.
The IDA Chairman, Jaypal Singh Chawda, expressed his enthusiasm for the new initiatives. He said that 40,000 beneficiaries would now be able to pay lease rent and renew their lease online. Furthermore, they would be able to monitor the status of their applications. Mr. Chawda also mentioned that this system would bring more transparency and would improve the work culture.
Neeraj Mandloi, the principal secretary, highly praised the initiative taken by the IDA and suggested that all the other development authorities of Madhya Pradesh should follow their example.
The IDA has made an impressive record by resolving 17,000 pending cases in less than a year. This has led to a decrease in the number of pending cases and complaints in the authority. In addition to this, a meeting concerning the Press Complex was also conducted.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, women from Madhya Pradesh have staged a demonstration and gheraoed the Parsaura Janpad office in order to demand their rights to the government's Kutir Yojana benefits.
