One of their lawyers, Brian Virag of My Bed Bug Lawyer, explained to 8NewsNow that Baita is alleging their sexual relationship has suffered significantly since the incident. As for Michael, he recalls that the hotel staff did not take the situation seriously. "They were just holding their groin area and laughing about it. It was really embarrassing," he shared. In fact, Michael was eventually diagnosed with "poisoning, scorpion sting" at the Summerlin Hospital. Doctors at the UCLA Medical Center also stated that he was suffering from erectile dysfunction due to the sting.
However, the effects of the sting go beyond just physical pain. "It has affected my family, my work, everything," Michael revealed. The lawsuit states that the Venetian had a duty of care to provide a clean and safe room, free of any vermin or pests, including scorpions.
