Ouch! The Masked Singer panel was in stunned disbelief on Christmas day when Carol Vorderman, 63, revealed her naked treadmill accident. Vorderman was unmasked as Reindeer on the festive special, narrowly missing out on being named the winner of the show by Ainsley Harriot (aka Partridge).
Vorders shared her treadmill nightmare with the panel of judges Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and special guest Leona Lewis. She explained, "I had a bit of an accident on a treadmill. I was training for a half marathon and I got a bit hot so I took all my clothes off, got back on the treadmill and it went 'phew' and I got trapped at the bottom of the treadmill... naked."
Mo's jaw dropped to the floor, while host Joel Dommett simply gasped, "What!?" Understandably so! It was certainly an unexpected revelation from the former Countdown star.
After the episode aired, Vorders tweeted, "Such fun! Excuse the singing. Loved being Reindeer. Thank you for loving Reindeer too. HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE."
Ainsley Harriott stole the show with his impressive vocals, fooling the judges into thinking Alan Titchmarsh or Jamie Oliver was behind Partridge. Julian Clarey was also unmasked as Decorations and Blackadder’s Tony Robinson as Sprout.
