Madikeri, Jul. 19: Kodagu District High School Co-Teachers Association met the District Collector and demanded that high school teachers be exempted from BLO duty and released.
Since teachers have a heavy workload of school lectures, it is difficult to perform their duties as BLOs. The District Collector was informed that the Revenue Department and the Tahsildar should be brought to the notice of the teachers not to force them to do any other work except the duties of the Education Department.
