Gaming news: Concerns about Final Fantasy 7 Remake, success of Unicorn Overlord, and anticipation for Dragon's Dogma 2.
Hey there!

So, have you heard anything about the sales for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? I was wondering because it seems like such a popular game, and yet another game inspired by a huge film franchise is getting all the attention. It just doesn't seem fair.

Personally, I've been yearning for a game where I can ride dinosaurs, shoot at them, and run away from them in fear. Is that really too much to ask for? But I guess I'm becoming outnumbered in my desire for this type of game.

And speaking of things that don't make sense, let's talk about the Silent Hill revival. I just can't wrap my head around why they're focusing on this instead of Castlevania. I mean, maybe they thought it would be cheaper to make? But even if that's true, Konami is a pretty wealthy company. And let's be real, outside of a small cult following, no one really cares about Silent Hill.

Now, I consider myself part of that cult following, so you would think I would be excited for this revival. But in reality, I'm not. All it's doing is damaging the reputation of the series and giving us even fewer good games compared to the bad ones. I can understand now how Star Wars fans must feel.

But let's move on to happier topics. Can we talk about the Summer Game Fest and all the other non-E3 shows happening this year? I am dying to know what Nintendo has in store for us. It's not just because I'm a fan, but also because Nintendo is so unpredictable. We have no clues as to what they're planning.

There are some great theories floating around about Metroid Prime 4, a new Super Mario game, a new Donkey Kong, and a new Mario Kart. But really, the possibilities are endless with Nintendo. They'll most likely want to release a lot of big name games in the first year, like they did with the Switch, but there's no way they can release all four of those games. Especially when you consider other highly anticipated titles like Animal Crossing and Splatoon.

Honestly, I have no idea what Nintendo is planning and that makes me even more excited. I mean, we could say the same about Sony, but let's be real, they've been consistently doing nothing. With Nintendo, you know they're building up to something amazing.

I'm content to let them work their magic, but at the same time, I'm really hoping for some big announcements in June, when E3 would normally take place.

On a side note, I had never heard of the London Gaming Market before. But after your recommendation, I'll definitely be checking it out this Sunday. Thanks for the heads up!

And one last thing, I have to say that the Summer Game Fest has a long way to go before it can even come close to the excitement of E3. Last year's event was quite boring and had nothing of interest. I don't have high hopes for it this year either.
