Ponnampet, Aug. 15: With the aim of conserving forests and building a healthy society, a free health checkup camp was organized at the Forest College in collaboration with the NSS unit of Ponnampet Forest College, Kadantara Foundation and Transforming Tomorrow Foundation. The health checkup camp was inaugurated by the Dean of the college, Dr. Devagiri. About 80 people participated in the camp and underwent health checkup. General health checkup, blood pressure, blood sugar level, hemoglobin and blood group tests were conducted in the camp. Medical advice and guidance were provided free of cost. On the occasion, a special awareness session was held on snake bite prevention and first aid.
