Nat Phillips is reportedly on the radar of Eredivisie champions Feyenoord, as they look to strengthen their squad with a move for the Liverpool defender.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds' academy from Bolton in 2016 and has made 29 appearances for the club since then, becoming a regular in the 2020/21 season due to an injury crisis in defence.
He spent the 2021/22 season on loan in the Championship with Bournemouth and has two years left on his contract at Anfield. According to The Athletic, Liverpool are willing to let him go for a fee of around £10m.
Feyenoord could prove to be an attractive proposition for Phillips, as they have qualified for the Champions League group stages next season.
The Englishman also has experience of European football after spending a loan spell in 2019/20 with Stuttgart in the 2.Bundesliga and making five Champions League appearances for Liverpool.
At the moment, there have been no official bids or negotiations with Feyenoord for the centre-back, but a move could be on the cards in the coming days.
Currently, Phillips finds himself behind Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez in the pecking order, so Liverpool wouldn't need to replace him should he decide to leave.
