He had no idea that Liam would be alone and that everything would go so wrong," he said.

I loved working with the Platts and the storylines were really exciting," he reminisced. "I always thought it was a shame how their relationship ended all those years ago. They were a great couple and really happy together."
In the present storyline, Gary has a lot of work to do in order to make things right with Maria. "It's definitely a tricky time for all of them," Mikey explained. "Gary is trying to balance taking care of Maria and Liam, while also trying to fix things with Maria. But their different views on how to help Liam have only added to their problems."
