Lori Vallow Daybell has been extradited from Idaho to Arizona to face charges related to the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. Four sheriff’s deputies made an 18-hour drive to the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center in Idaho to pick up Vallow Daybell. She will be held in the Estrella Jail while awaiting trial. Sheriff Paul Penzone stated that Vallow Daybell is considered to be high risk and will thus be kept in a high-security area. He added that the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will take charge of prosecuting the allegations.
Vallow Daybell is also being charged with the deaths of her niece’s ex-husband, Brandon Bourdreaux, in Gilbert. In April, her former best friend testified that she had lied about her children’s wellbeing and called them ‘zombies’. Her children’s bodies were found buried in her husband’s backyard in 2022.
Vallow Daybell is expected to make her initial court appearance this week. Her latest mugshot comes after she previously smirked in a mugshot taken in August after being found guilty of murdering her two children and conspiring in the murder of her husband’s first wife.
