Environmentalist from Navi Mumbai attends C-20 SEWA Summit in Bhopal to discuss global issues.
Navi Mumbai's Dharmesh Barai, the founder of Environment Life Foundation, attended the C 20 SEWA Summit in Bhopal on July 1 and 2. Barai, who has been cleaning mangroves for the last 150 weeks, was invited due to his contribution for saving nature.

The C 20 SEWA Summit, hosted by the Civil 20 Engagement Group, brought together civil society representatives, experts, dignitaries, philanthropists, international civil societies, influencers, and 'SEWA' Yogis to recognize individuals who have made exemplary contributions. This summit was held in alignment with the G20 Summit to emphasize the importance of Sewa in achieving global development goals.

The C20 is an open community that channels the voice of civil society around the world into the G20 process. It provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations to bring a non-government and non-business voice to G20. The C20 India 2023 consists of 14 working groups, each focusing on different objectives.

The summit was graced by the presence of Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, as well as prominent guest speakers like Dr. Vinay Sahasrabudhe and Padma Shri Ashok Bhagat. Embassies Consulates in India and dignitaries from National and International Organizations were also present, offering invaluable insights and expertise.

Meanwhile, Navi Mumbai's Flooded Uran Railway Station has made waves on social media. The station, which was submerged in water, has been making headlines all over the country. This emphasizes the need for urgent action to protect the environment and ensure the safety of citizens.
