She was left with serious wounds on her face, head, arms, hand and back, and even had to have surgery on her head due to the incident. Her neighbour, David Wilson, the owner of the dog, was charged for the offense of having an out-of-control dog that caused injury. Kia has since been put down and Jacqueline has been left with scars from the attack. Wilson pleaded guilty at the Burnley Magistrates' Court and will be sentenced on May 3rd.
