Dr Hilary Jones is an ITV favourite and recently celebrated a landmark birthday, shocking many viewers and colleagues who struggled to believe that he was turning 70. Richard Madeley, 67, was shocked, while Susanna Reid, 52, joked, “I want what he’s having!”. Dr Hilary quipped in response, “Make-up is brilliant these days, isn’t it? Dr Hilary has been on ITV for decades, first appearing on GMTV in 1989 as a health and medical advisor. When ITV changed their morning broadcasts in 2010 and then again in 2014, Dr Hilary stayed on as Health Editor.
