Delhi CM Kejriwal's request for lifting interim bail stay to be heard by SC today.
The Supreme Court is set to hold a hearing on Monday regarding Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's appeal against the interim stay imposed by the Delhi High Court. This stay was issued in relation to his release on bail in a money laundering case involving an alleged liquor policy scam.

According to the supplementary cause list available on the apex court's website, Justices Manoj Misra and SVN Bhatti of the vacation bench will preside over the case at noon. Kejriwal's legal team had previously requested an urgent hearing from the Supreme Court.

Earlier, on June 21, the Delhi High Court had halted the release of the Aam Aadmi Party leader after the Enforcement Directorate challenged the trial court's bail order. The vacation bench of Justices Sudhir Kumar Jain and Ravinder Dudeja had directed that the bail order should not be enforced until the matter was heard in its entirety. Later that day, the Delhi High Court reserved its decision and stated that it would announce its ruling within two to three days.

The Enforcement Directorate had also approached the trial court on Thursday, asking for a 48-hour delay in signing the bail bond following the judgment. However, the trial court firmly rejected the ED's request for a stay on its order granting bail.
