CMO orders officials to remove stray animals from city.
On Friday, the Legislator's representative Mahendra Yadav and Chief Municipal Officer Navneet Pandey took a tour of various wards in Narmadapuram city and issued a directive to the officials present to clean up the drains as soon as possible.
Yadav and Pandey took feedback from the traders in regards to the work done to clean the drains in areas that suffer from water-logging during the monsoon season.
In order to prevent encroachment, the Nagar Palika's anti-demolition squad was asked to get rid of the stray animals from the town.
The sub-engineer of the civic body, Deeksha Tiwari, accompanied Yadav and Pandey during the inspection of the drains. The trio also discussed how to manage water-logging in the city.

Pandey held a meeting with the members of the anti-encroachment squad and instructed the in-charge to shoo away the stray animals from the roads as the rainy season is approaching. He divided the duties amongst two teams, one that will drive out the stray animals in the day and the other at night.
Pandey emphasized that if any stray animals are spotted in the city, immediate action will be taken against the in-charge of the squad. He also warned that any negligence of duties from the squad members will not be tolerated.
The inspection concluded with Yadav, Pandey, and Tiwari assuring the traders that the water-logging problem in the city would be solved soon.
