Today is a historic day for India as Chandrayaan-3 is all set to land on the uncharted south pole of the Moon. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his pride and joy for India's extraordinary achievements. He said, “The whole country is proud. My heart is filled with joy and happiness. I want to thank all the scientists from the bottom of my heart because of whose intelligence and hard work this moment has come.”

The Chief Minister further stated that the country is achieving these great feats under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and today is a day of India’s pride.

Special worship and prayers have been performed across the state for the successful lunar landing of Chandrayaan-3. A special 'Bhasma Aarti' was performed at Mahakaleshwar temple situated in Ujjain district. Similarly, a large number of devotees offered special prayers at Bageshwar Dham situated in Chhatarpur district and 'Havan Pujan' was performed at Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore district.

According to ISRO, Chandrayaan-3 is all set to land on the Moon today at around 18:04 hrs IST. Live action of the landing will be available on the ISRO website, its YouTube channel, Facebook, and public broadcaster DD National TV from 5:27 PM IST on August 23, 2023.
