On Monday, Member of Parliament Rao Udai Pratap Singh and legislator Sitasaran Sharma will be inaugurating the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj bus stand in Itarsi. Also present at the occasion will be the Chairman of Nagar Palika Pankaj Choure and the president of MP Swimmers’ Association Piyush Sharma.
In preparation for the inauguration, Sharma inspected the bus stand on Saturday. He was accompanied by Choure, sub-divisional magistrate Madan Singh Raghuwanshi, chief municipal officer Hemeshwari Patel and others. According to Sharma, the bus stand is well-equipped with various facilities and rooms for passengers will be built for those who need to stay overnight. Additionally, an auto parking system will also be implemented to benefit the residents of old Itarsi.
Sharma also mentioned that the regional transport officer will be invited to the inauguration of the bus stand and plans to run it will be made after the ceremony. The legislator also inspected the Veer Savarkar stadium.
