Blizzard Entertainment is hosting an in-depth livestream this Thursday, July 6th at 11am PDT (7pm BST) to officially unveil season 1 of Diablo 4 on their official Diablo Twitch channel.
Associate game director Joseph Piepiora and lead game producer Timothy Ismay will be on hand to discuss the season's contents and quality-of-life updates for Diablo 4. Not to be outdone, senior narrative designer Ryan Quinn and lead user experience designer Chris Liao will also have something to show, as they’ll be revealing a new ‘monstrous’ character class for Diablo Immortal.
The new class is said to be the Blood Knight, a powerful enemy type from the original Diablo game. To top it off, the stream will end with a Q&A session where you’ll be able to ask further questions about the upcoming content.
Unfortunately, early season 1 details have already been a point of contention for some Diablo 4 fans. It was recently revealed that for every new season, you’ll need to create a new character to progress the battle pass, meaning you can’t carry your character from one battle pass to the next. This has caused frustration for some players, leaving a sour taste in their mouths.
