Jennifer Greene, the Black woman CEO of Free At Last Bail Bonds, an Atlanta-based bail bonding company, was taken aback when she found out that her latest clients were part of a nationally recognized case. Three of the individuals charged in the Trump indictment in Fulton County, Georgia had come to Greene’s business to acquire its services.

“My counterparts may not understand why I’m doing this,” Greene expressed. “I mean, the people who believe that Trump and his cohorts are guilty. But that’s not my job. Our job is to ensure that you get back home to your family and you continue with your life so that you can have a livelihood that doesn’t lead you to a life of crime.”
It is yet to be determined whether or not Greene’s mission will be successful with this unique set of clients. Nevertheless, Greene is determined to provide the same services she provides to all of her clients, regardless of their social or political standing.
