Belle and Sebastian are playing two shows tonite and tomorrow night here in NYC at the Nokia Theater.
My friend Mark scored me and the Gotham Gal tickets a couple months ago and we are going tonite.
Needless to say, I am totally jazzed. I have loved, and I mean loved, this amazing band from Scotland since I first heard If You’re Feeling Sinister in back in 1999.
Longtime reader Karen saw them earlier this week at The Avalon in Boston and sent me a note yesterday which included this review of the show:

Wow, still high at 11 the next morning.
So much talent and instrumental diversity. They contain multitudes.
