Aramark is expanding their efforts to support minority-owned businesses.
Aramark Refreshments has recently signed a multiyear agreement with BLK & Bold, the first Black-owned nationally distributed coffee brand. The agreement is part of Aramark's commitment to diversifying its portfolio of suppliers in the refreshments industry and expanding its values.

Patrick Liebler, president of Aramark Refreshments, shared his enthusiasm about the agreement, "Aramark Refreshments provides more than simply beverages and curated coffee services; we offer inspired break experiences that foster an inclusive office environment and create a sense of community."

The mission of BLK & Bold is to positively impact communities through the daily routine of drinking coffee or tea. Founded by Pernell Cezar and Rod Johnson, the company donates 5% of its proceeds to nonprofit organizations across the country that are focused on supporting and teaching America’s underprivileged youth.

Cezar, BLK & Bold’s CEO and co-founder, believes it's important to address socioeconomic disparities by creating a funnel to resources. He said, "We must continue to invest in diverse voices to solve issues within our communities. This is one of many ways to make a difference."

Aramark has been actively supporting and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion since 2023, when it was recognized by BLACK ENTERPRISE as a best company for DEI. Most recently, it announced an equitable alliance agreement with Triple B Hospitality Group, a Black-owned leader in human-centric hospitality, to bridge gaps in economic impact and link talented people to stronger, longer-term workplace opportunities.

The multiyear agreement with BLK & Bold is another example of Aramark's commitment to building more effective partnerships with women- and minority-owned businesses and further demonstrates its dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
