Madikeri, Nov. 18: The Karnataka Maratha Communities Development Corporation is implementing the Sewing Machine Distribution Scheme for the year 2025-26. Those who wish to avail the facility under this scheme must apply online. The last date for submitting applications is December 6.
To apply for this scheme from the Karnataka Maratha Communities Development Corporation, one must belong to the community falling under Category-3-B. Caste and income certificate must be obtained in Form-3B (the certificate must be valid). Applicants must be from the state of Karnataka and their permanent address must be in the state of Karnataka. Must have Aadhaar card. The age of the applicant should not exceed minimum 18 years and maximum 55 years.
Only one member in a family should be considered for this facility. The annual income of the applicant's family in rural areas should not exceed Rs. 98 thousand and in urban areas Rs. 1.20 lakhs. 5% should be reserved for disabled women. While selecting, 33% should be reserved for women, 5% for the specially abled and 1% for third genders, 2% for disabled women. 2% should be reserved for widows, abandoned women, HIV-infected women and unmarried women above the age of 35 years.
Applications for this scheme should be submitted online through the Seva Sindhu portal at Grama One, Bangalore One and Karnataka One Seva Kendras. Those who want to get benefits under the discretionary quota of the Board of Directors should also apply online separately, only one member of a family can apply for benefits under this scheme once. For the Best Farmer Award
In the current year 2025-26, under the Atma Yojana of the Agriculture Department, State, District and Taluk level Best Farmer Awards will be distributed to farmers implementing agriculture and agriculture-related activities. The 10 farmers selected for the District Level Best Farmer Awards will be given Rs. 25,000 each and the Taluk level award will be given Rs. 50,000 each to 5 farmers from the respective Taluk. 10,000/- will be distributed as per the decision of the district level selection committee.
The Joint Director of the Agriculture Department has informed that eligible interested farmers involved in agriculture and agriculture-related activities such as integrated cropping system in agriculture, integrated water management, organic farming development, use of scientific machinery, horticulture, dairy farming, poultry farming, fishing, sericulture, high-tech technology implementation, greenhouse, graft development, plant breeding etc., agricultural processing, forestry, goat, sheep, rabbit and other farming activities in which farmers can participate for the award should obtain the applications from the office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture of the respective taluk and deliver the filled applications to the office of the Taluk Assistant Director of Agriculture by 5 pm on 29-11-2025.
