Billy Chemirmir, a Kenyan living in Dallas, was killed by his prison cellmate on September 19th, 2020 in a rural East Texas prison. The 50-year-old man was convicted in 2022 for murdering two women, and was linked to 22 other victims in a two-year killing spree, according to the Associated Press.
