Reports suggest that Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad have reignited their interest in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool. It's part of a spending spree in the Middle Eastern country, which has seen superstars such as Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Fabinho, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo all join Saudi teams this summer.
Liverpool have done business with multiple Saudi teams before, selling Jordan Henderson to Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq and Roberto Firmino joining Al-Ahli on a free transfer.
It is unclear how likely a transfer would be given that Salah's agent dismissed links to a Saudi Arabian team earlier this month. But the massive wages and huge transfer fees that Saudi teams are willing to pay could potentially be too tempting for Liverpool to turn down, if Salah wants the move.
Salah is one of the best players in the world, having an incredible record of 187 goals and 80 assists in 307 games for Liverpool. He also has a number of trophies to his name, winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup whilst at Anfield.
It remains to be seen if Salah will be leaving Liverpool for Al-Ittihad this summer. But with the huge sums of money being thrown around by Saudi teams, it could be difficult for the Reds to turn down an offer, if the Egyptian superstar decides to leave.
