AEW will host another show at Wembley Stadium in 2024, following their historic show in 2021.
It was a night to remember as All Elite Wrestling returned to Wembley Stadium for the first time in 30 years. On Sunday night, AEW hosted their first event outside of North America, and what a night it was. With 81,035 fans in attendance, the company set a new worldwide record for a pro wrestling event.

After the match, the former champion teased a huge announcement from Tony Khan, which turned out to be a confirmation that AEW would be returning to Wembley Stadium on August 25th, 2024.

The night opened with a spectacular match between CM Punk and Samoa Joe. Punk played up to the boos of the crowd, channeling John Cena and Hulk Hogan as he thrived in the role. The UK crowd was also treated to a standout moment when Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, became the new AEW Women's Champion.

FTR retained the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a fantastic match against rivals The Young Bucks, while Sting and Darby Allin won a Coffin Match against Christian Cage and Swerve Strickland. In another standout match, Will Ospreay beat WWE legend Chris Jericho in a match that built to an epic crescendo.

The night also saw Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy, Best Friends and Penta El Zero Miedo win a wild Stadium Stampede against Blackpool Combat Club, Oritz and Santana, while Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed captured trios gold from House of Black. Konosuke Takeshita and Bullet Club Gold ended the night with a thrilling six-man tag which had the crowd on their feet.
