Born on January 7, 1938 in Bangalore, Saroja Devi made a name for herself in the Indian film industry through her acting. She was also given the title of ‘Abhinaya Saraswati’ for her acting. She was famous in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. She acted as the heroine in 161 films continuously from 1955 to 1984.
