Suntikoppa, August 12: Four years have passed since this robbery case. But till now the robbers have not been found, and the gold and silver ornaments and money stolen by the thieves have not been returned to the heirs.

The elderly woman, who has lost lakhs of gold and silver ornaments worth thousands of rupees and cash, who worked hard in the coffee plantation and fields throughout her life and bought them to be used in difficult times, has been wandering around the police station and SP office, demanding that the thieves be found and the property returned.

Sarojini (70), a resident of Harbail in Haradur village near Suntikoppa, lives alone in a senior citizen's house and has a coffee plantation and field near her house. Four years ago, on the night of 27.04.2021, three masked thieves broke into the house of an old woman who was engaged in agriculture and made a living, and robbed her of gold ornaments and cash worth lakhs of rupees and fled.

Even after 4 years of the incident, neither the thieves nor the stolen items have been found. Therefore, for the past four years, this old woman has been wandering around the Suntikoppa Police Station, Kushalnagar Police

 Deputy Superintendent's office, District Superintendent of Police office many times and is in despair without finding any benefit.

On the day of the theft, the thieves who broke into the house tied the old woman's hands and stuffed a cloth in her mouth and stole a gold necklace weighing 32 grams, a gold ring weighing 2 grams, two bracelets weighing 12 grams, and approximately Rs. 50 thousand in cash from the locker of the house. In this regard, a case under IPC Section 394 was registered at Suntikoppa Police Station on that day, and police dog squad and fingerprint experts had come to check the thieves.

But so far, the police department has not been able to trace the thieves who stole gold ornaments worth lakhs and thousands of rupees. The old woman has reached the point of bedridden due to the loss of all the gold and money she had earned by working hard in agriculture in her garden. She is praying to God every day to get back the stolen gold and money. The district police have unearthed many mysterious cases. Last year, the murderers of a Telangana man who had been murdered without any trace or evidence were successfully traced and arrested from thousands of km away and the accused were successfully arrested. The Kodagu Police Department, which attracted the attention of the state and the country, has requested them to investigate the robbery case that took place in the house of this single woman four years ago.
