A weekend of fun activities honoring culture is being held by Revolt World.
Revolt World, curated by Diddy, was a star-studded event to honor 50 years of hip-hop and shift the culture. Held at Atlanta’s Pangaea Studios from September 22-24, the 47-acre lot formerly owned by Tyler Perry provided the perfect setting for this “3 Days of Impact and Inspiration.” Attendees had the opportunity to partake in a variety of activities, from music and mentorship to professional and educational engagement.

The Revolt Podcast Network Pitch Competition in the Culture Studio was a highlight of the event, giving visitors the chance to pitch their ideas. Lauren London also held a live taping of Revolt’s Assets over Liabilities. Additionally, the “CultureVersations” touched on current events such as the RICO charges of Young Thug and Trump and the “audacity” of Atlanta prosecutor Fani Willis.

The weekend was not all about business and culture – attendees also had the chance to learn more about holistic techniques with meditation and sound bath workshops, as well as participate in the True Voice Panel featuring Trap Yoga Bae Moderator Will Campbell. The “She’s Got Game” panel, led by LSU Basketball champion Flau’jae Johnson and sports journalist Jemele Hill, focused on female athletes and their impact in the sports world. Yung Miami, who hosted the panel, also surprised fans by performing a musical set on stage.

Other performances included Moneybagg Yo, Saucy Santana, Scar Lip, and King Combs. Sowmya Krishnamurthy also interviewed Jim Jones and celebrity stylist Groovey Lew on how hip-hop created its own lane in the fashion industry.

Revolt World was an incredible success, leaving a monumental impact on the thousands in attendance. It provided a space to showcase the Black community’s talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial ambition. It truly was a celebration of 50 years of hip-hop and a great way to shift the culture.
