A thief who ate spaghetti and terrorized a neighborhood left a strange note after breaking into a home.
Police are currently on the lookout for a man who has been causing chaos in a neighborhood. The suspect allegedly left a note for a homeowner after breaking into their home in the gated community of Clearwood, located on Washington street. This brazen burglar not only entered the home uninvited, but also took the liberty of cooking and eating a meal, as well as washing the dishes afterwards.

According to the homeowner, who had just returned from a trip on Friday morning, the note was written on a napkin and left on their kitchen table. It read: "I really needed food badly. I broke into your house. Please forgive me. I ate your food, washed my clothes, and showered. P.S. Your popcorn maker wasn't working properly." The homeowner, Eddie Andujo, initially thought it was a joke, but quickly realized it was not. The kitchen window was broken and there was glass scattered in the sink and surrounding area. "He made spaghetti," Andujo shared. "But the funny part is, he washed his dishes. So he was a nice crook, I guess. And he even folded the blankets he used."

Thankfully, the intruder did not take any of Andujo's belongings. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, gray pants, and black shoes. The Thurston County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect and conducted a search with the assistance of a K9 unit on Sunday, but he has not yet been apprehended.

Another homeowner in the community, Bethany Stirber, also had a run-in with the suspect. He broke into her car and found her garage and gate key, attempting to enter her garage while she was home. "We scared him off, but then he keeps coming back," Stirber said. "And every time we call the cops, it takes too long for them to arrive." She reported seeing the suspect again on Sunday and called 911, but unfortunately, he got away.

Ashley O'Neil, another homeowner, and her husband also tried to catch the bandit, but he managed to escape. "You never know where he is lurking," O'Neil said. "To be honest, it's scary." This isn't the first strange incident involving notes between homeowners and strangers. In a similar situation last summer, an Amazon driver was caught on camera jumping into a homeowner's pool in Gardena, California after reading a note left for them. "If you want to go for a swim, you are welcome to," the note read.
