Somwarpet, Jul. 18: A total of 62 houses have been damaged in Somwarpet taluk due to the rains so far this year and 8 cattle have died. Along with this, barns have been damaged in 2 cases, and a total of Rs. 22,82,300 has been distributed by the government as compensation.
