Forward Nick Schmaltz is still considering playing for Team USA

    The Chicago Blackhawks will be well represented at next month’s World Championship. The tournament is from May 4 20 in Copenhagen and Herning, Denmark.

    Forwards Alex DeBrincat https://www.blackhawkschifans.com/lance-bouma-jersey-c-21.html, Patrick Kane and defenseman Connor Murphy have all confirmed they’ll play for the United States men’s hockey team, while forward Tomas Jurco will suit up for Slovakia. It’ll be the first Worlds tournament appearance in 10 years for Kane. DeBrincat will also make his Worlds debut https://www.blackhawkschifans.com/john-hayden-jersey-c-19.html, while Murphy and Jurco are veterans of the tournament.

    Chicago assistant coach Don Granto https://www.blackhawkschifans.com/ryan-hartman-jersey-c-20.html, a Downers Grove , Illinois native, will also serve in the same role for Americans. Granto joined the Hawks after the 2016 17 season.

    Forward Nick Schmaltz is still considering playing for Team USA, and winger Brandon Saad said he won’t head to Denmark as he focuses on his offseason training and upcoming wedding in July.

    Forward Jonathan Toews Corey Crawford Jersey and defenseman Duncan Keith also have said they won’t be playing for Canada.
